Refugee Mentoring Program (RMP)
This is not a supervision program. Mentoring relationships offer benefits to mentees, including opening doors to networking and research opportunities and assisting in the development of a wider perspective of the profession and the professional role of therapists and service providers. Mentoring can also provide strategies for successfully navigating through client cases and the system.
RMHMP is a specific program for service providers who work with refugee population. It is a monthly based program and will take place online via Zoom which is PHIPPA compliant or face to face if needed for 2 hours. Mentorship can be done individually or in a group setting. This mentorship program will support you in your work with refugee clients.
This program is open to any service providers, students or groups who work with refugees including health professionals, sponsorship groups, social service workers, lawyers, settlement workers, case workers etc. Private group sessions are available upon request.
