Immigration clinical evaluations can be very challenging and complex, especially when it comes to refugee claims. This type of evaluation requires a unique combination of clinical, ethical, and professional skills.
This introductory workshop will cover a wide range of topics related to immigration evaluations. It is an opportunity for participants to learn different styles of conducting evaluations such as asylum claims, gender-based violence, LGBTQI, human trafficking and torture survivors.
Other topics to be covered include assessment components, diagnosis, trauma history, court subpoenas, and more
